We are excited to announce that Shepherd Elementary will host its first Winter Ball on January 24th! There will be fun & games, a DJ, food, and photos, all conveniently located in the Multipurpose Room. Tickets can be purchased for $5 a person (children and adults must pay admission) and must be purchased in advance. Adults are required to accompany children in PreK3 - 2nd but not in 3rd - 5th grades.

You can send a payment of $5/person to your homeroom teacher. Please remember to include a slip of paper with your child's name and how many people will attend. All event proceeds go to the student activities fund.

The PTO is also looking for 2 more volunteers to help with the event for the 3^rd - 5^th grade session. Please visit this sign-up genius if you are able to support!

The Teacher Appreciation Program, or TAP, gives parents an opportunity to recognize a teacher at Shepherd for their great work and dedication. TAP invites parents to write a letter of appreciation recognizing a teacher who has been especially helpful or admirable in the classroom. 

Once a month, a special teacher will be selected from the nominations to receive a Wishlist fund bonus. The recognition letters will also be shared with the selected teacher and school community.
