The Local School Advisory Team (LSAT) will hold its final meeting of the school year on Wednesday, June 17, beginning at 3:45 PM!

We will review the enrollment update and staffing plans for the 2026–27 school year, including updates on filled positions and ongoing hiring efforts.

Immediately following the LSAT business, members of the PTO leadership team will review the year's highlights and accomplishments!

Ms. Scott has helped Shepherd students discover the magic of reading, and we are so grateful for the care, creativity, and joy she has brought to our community. Come help us thank her and wish her well on her next adventure!

Thank you to everybody who joined us for the PTO will be partnering with The Chiron Project LLC for a parent workshop series. Together, we explored age-appropriate strategies for discussing identity, bias, and discrimination. This includes ways to respond to children's questions and concerns, as well as approaches for supporting their well-being, sense of belonging, and personal agency. 

While the session was not recorded, we are able to distribute the following recommended resources:

• Teaching for Change’s Social Justice Books
• Disney’s Ruby Bridges (movie available for purchase and on select streaming services)
