The PTO Executive Board and LSAT are critical teams dedicated to an overarching goal to develop a strong and vibrant sense of community at Shepherd. 

Many of the PTO Executive Team members are term limited in their roles. So we are reaching out to the Shepherd community asking you to consider running for office! Voting for the 2024-2025 school year is scheduled for early May 2024.

Please consider running for the PTO Executive Committee or the LSAT. The positions are:

Shepherd Elementary is excited to offer the Poppin Popcorn Fundraisers for our 3^rd grade students who are going to Philly and our 4^th grade students who are going to NYC! Please support our efforts by purchasing a variety of popcorn and other special treats using the links below. These links can be shared with your community. We will receive 50% of the profit and 80% of all donations.

Shepherd is excited to announce this year's spring musical, Annie, will be held on March 21st and 22nd! Performances start at 6:00 pm on both nights. The cast of 3rd - 5th graders have been living a 'hard-knock life' for months in order to prepare. 

Tickets are on sale now! Admission is $5/person and can be purchased on the Annie website. Tickets will be on sale until March 14th or the event sells out (whichever comes first).

"Coffee & Conversations with Principal Russell" for 3rd Grade families will be held on Tuesday, March 12th at 8:50 am.  It's a great opportunity to chat with Principal Russell and get to know other 3rd Grade families. We hope you can make it.

The Teacher Appreciation Program, or TAP, gives parents an opportunity to recognize a teacher at Shepherd for their great work and dedication. TAP invites parents to write a letter of appreciation recognizing a teacher who has been especially helpful or admirable in the classroom. 

Once a month, a special teacher will be selected from the nominations to receive a Wishlist fund bonus. The recognition letters will also be shared with the selected teacher and school community.
